Learning to Live With Love & Loss

A grief support course created by Thomas John, world-renowned celebrity medium known as “The Seatbelt Psychic,” and Brittany Saccento, Evidential Psychic Medium & Certified Grief Educator.

Make room for your grief, carry your love, and find support for the life you are learning to live.

The holidays can make someone’s absence feel especially close.

You may want to keep every tradition or find that you cannot face any of them this year. You may feel sadness, anger, relief, guilt, or moments of happiness that leave you wondering whether you’re allowed to feel them.

Whatever you are carrying, you are welcome here.

Learning to Live With Love & Loss offers space to understand your grief and explore ways to honor the person you love while also caring for yourself.

Do any of these feel familiar?

  • You feel overwhelmed by emotions you don’t always understand.

  • You worry that you’re grieving too much, too little, or differently from everyone around you.

  • You replay conversations and carry things you never got to say.

  • You say yes to plans because you don’t want to disappoint anyone, then wish you had stayed home.

  • You want to honor your loved one, but familiar traditions feel painful.

  • You want to feel connected to them while finding your footing in daily life.

  • You have moments of happiness, followed by guilt or the fear that you’re leaving them behind.

If you recognize yourself here, this course was created with these experiences in mind.

When grief feels overwhelming, it helps to have something to reach for

You may not be able to stop a wave of grief from coming. But you can learn to recognize what is happening, understand what you need, and choose how to support yourself.

Each class combines education, practical tools, hands-on exercises, and supportive resources you can bring into everyday life.

This course is deeply spiritual and deeply human. We’ll make room for continued connection with your loved one alongside the reality of family gatherings, difficult feelings, tired bodies, and ordinary days.

What we’ll explore together

Understanding your grief - Recognize the different ways grief can show up in your mind, body, and everyday life. Explore the expectations you carry about how you “should” be grieving and practice meeting your feelings with less judgment.

Caring for yourself during difficult moments - Learn simple body-awareness and grounding practices to help you notice what you need when emotions become intense.

The things you never got to say - Make space for words, questions, regrets, anger, and love that remain. Through live exercises, you’ll have an opportunity to express what feels unfinished, with the choice to keep your words entirely to yourself.

Signs, synchronicities, and continued connection - Explore spiritual perspectives on connection after loss and reflect on experiences that feel meaningful to you, with room for your own beliefs and questions.

Boundaries and the holidays - Explore how to respond to invitations, expectations, family dynamics, and social media when your needs look different from someone else’s. Consider which traditions you want to keep, change, pause, or create.

Love Notes From Previous Students

“I was hesitant to take a course on grief. I wasn’t sure how I would feel sharing such personal parts of my life, and I worried that focusing on my grief might make me feel worse. But from the very first class, I felt comfortable and supported. The space felt safe, and the practical tools helped me connect with my grief in ways I hadn’t before. It ended up being a truly healing experience.” - Kitt M.

“The four week course did more for me than any private therapist has done. I’ve tried several, but never felt they helped me the way this course did. The format worked well for me. Being live meant we could talk through ideas and suggestions together, and the recordings were helpful to revisit afterward. It helped me step outside my safe space and move forward on my grief journey. I’ve told so many people about it, and I truly hope you run it again.” - Heather Q.

“I thought I understood my grief, but this course helped me look at it in a different way. I was able to recognize feelings I hadn’t known how to put into words and notice the expectations I had placed on myself. The tools and exercises helped me approach my grief with more understanding and less judgment. I came away with practical ways to care for myself while continuing to honor the person I love.” -Amy L.

A Note from Brittany & Thomas

We both come to this work with education around grief and personal experiences of loss. We know how tender it can feel to speak about someone you love, share your story, or make space for feelings you’ve been carrying quietly.

Behind every mediumship reading is a real person with a real loss—a relationship, a shared history, and someone deeply missed. We hold that responsibility close to our hearts.

We created this course with that same care, bringing together practical support and spiritual connection while honoring your individual experience. You deserve to be met with compassion, without pressure to share more than you’re ready to or feel differently than you do.

We are honored to support you on this journey and grateful for the trust you place in us.

With love,
Brittany & Thomas John
